This is what ITA and TRIAGON stand for with our vision and mission:
With our fast track study programmes we offer you the chance to advance as a tourism professional by means of academic qualifications. In this way we create opportunities for people who want to achieve more in life!
In many European countries, counting professional qualifications and work experience towards a university degree course or equivalent has long been standard and reduces the time needed for study. In our view, that should also be possible in Austria. Because fast-track studies are still relatively rare in Austria we started our cooperation with the TRIAGON Academy.
If you have the professional qualifications and work experience we will open the door to a degree course for you and grant you 90 ECTS – so you need study for one and a half year only for the fast track bachelor’s!
It is our aim to prepare you as well as possible for current and future challenges in your job and to promote your professional and personal development. That is why we attach particular importance to practical skills, transferring learning to professional practice and key qualifications applicable to a range of jobs. For you this means as much theory as necessary, as much practice as possible!
We have not only geared the choice of course content to future trends and demands, but have additionally created educational models and study formats that ensure optimum practical relevance.
When designing our programmes we apply the following principles: learning based on practice and projects ensures the best possible learning transfer – e-learning enables study anytime, anywhere and is suitable for different types of learner (auditory, visual, communicative etc.). We also develop our learning formats according to these two principles. In this way we guarantee great learning success!
Aside from selecting the instruction formats we make sure that the on-site learning environment is such that an agreeable learning atmosphere is created. We offer pleasant rooms with modern furnishings and keep the group sizes small.
The individual support, guidance and supervision of our students are particularly important to us. We want to actively promote your personal and professional development and provide you with the appropriate environment and services.
That is why we keep the distances between lecturers, tutors and students as short as possible. Furthermore, we take plenty of time for your personal feedback and to give you ours on your performance in your studies. Communication and availability – that is our central service promise to you.
